Trace Awards – Artists from all over the continent and its diaspora will perform at the eagerly awaited event, including Ghanaian Iron Boy, Black Sherif, Congolese sensations Fally Ipupa, Innoss’B, and Gaz Mawete; Tanzanian musicians Diamond Platnumz, Alikiba, Zuchu, Marioo, and Nandy; and Nigerian performers Rema and Yemi Alade. Additionally scheduled to perform are Senegal’s Wally Seck, Kenyan performer Bien, and South African amapiano duet Titom & Yuppe.
Didi B, Josey, Tamsir, KS Bloom, Team Paiya, and HIMRA from Ivory Coast, as well as King Promise, Qing Madi, and Nigerian producer P Priime, are among the other artists. Artists from outside of Africa will also be featured in the show, including Joshua Baraka (Uganda), Barth (Réunion Island), Nesly (Martinique/French Guiana), and Joé Dwet Filé (France/Haiti).
Tanzania, the host nation, will have a significant presence, with several of its own musicians scheduled to play. In addition to giving musicians a stage on which to perform for audiences around the world, the awards seek to promote Africa’s flourishing music industry.

The Compozers, a British Afrobeat trio, have been revealed as the ceremony’s official house band, offering an exciting musical experience all evening long. Sherrie Silver, a British-Rwandan dancer and choreographer best known for her work on Childish Gambino’s multi-award-winning “This Is America” music video, will lead the event’s choreography.
In the meantime, the ever-important Burna Boy, Asake and Rema of Nigeria, and Tyla and Tyler ICU of South Africa are at the top of the pack. Song of the Year is one of the most eagerly awaited categories, with several formidable artists competing for the top honor, such as Tyla’s blockbuster song “Jump” and Tyler ICU’s catchy song “Mnike.” Nigerian heavyweights Asake & Travis Scott with “Active,” Tems with “Love Me Jeje,” and Burna Boy with “Higher” are among the other competitors in the category. Diamond Platnumz’s “Komasawa” and Rema and Shallipopi’s “Benin Boys” complement the outstanding competition and demonstrate the increasing popularity of African music around the world.
