Last month, more than 50 protesters from the Democracy Hub were arrested and detained after demonstrating against illegal mining and government policies. The protesters faced harsh conditions, including being denied bail and access to legal representation for two weeks.
Following public outrage, all protesters were eventually released on bail. As one of Ghana’s most anticipated annual events, Tidal Rave, organized by Echo House Ghana, has grown into a cultural phenomenon that merges music, art, and youth expression.
