Afrobeat and afro-pop singer King Promise is optimistic that he will win ‘Artist of The Year’ at the ongoing TGMA 2025.

The singer spoke with high hopes when he appeared on the red carpet at the ongoing show. His strong contenders in the ‘Artist of the Year’ category include Stonebwoy and King Paluta.

Speaking with the hosts on the red carpet, the ‘Paris’ crooner stated categorically he missing out in the prestigious category is never happening tonight.

”What happens if you do not win the Artist of The Year,” one of the hosts quizzed.

”It’s not happening,” responded the singer.

The 26th TGMA is currently under at the Grand Arena in Accra. Some winners including Best HiplIfe Artist of The Year, Best Highlife Artist of The Year, Best Male and Female Vocal performers have already been announced.
