Ghanaian-British band The Compozers are gearing up and rehearsing for another history with their forthcoming European tour slated for 2024.
The band announced the forthcoming tour through a statement shared on their X platform. The instrumentalists which consist of Stephen Asamoah-Duah on drums, Nana Ntorinkansah on the bass guitar, David Ohene-Akrasi on keytar, and Charlie Mensah-Bonsu on the keyboard came through the limelight and dominated the music industry globally after their annual show “A Night with The Compozers,” which premiered in 2013, one of their notable achievements.
Known as the Unsung Heroes of the Afrobeats genre, the band have not only promoted and pushed the genre but added touches to the live performances of mainstream artists such as Davido, Asake, Tiwa Savage, Diamond Platnumz, Sarkodie, etc. They have performed at various spacious and popular venues including London’s 02 Arena, cementing their legacy in the industry.
Scheduled to kickstart in October, the much-anticipated tour will start in London and see the British stars make stops in Germany, France, Austria, and the Netherlands before they wrap in Sweden.
Tickets are scheduled to go on sale on Monday the 5th of August 2024 at exactly 9 AM. Hinting at the tour, they promised it would be a fun experience and worth-remembering as it will feature stellar and electric performances.
