In a historic turn of events, Grammy-award-winning musician Burna Boy has sold out the 23K capacity Co-op Live in Manchester.
The singer’s worth-remembering concert at the largest venue in the United Kingdom came off on Easter Monday (April 21st).
Burna Boy shut down Co-op Live days after selling out the 100K capacity Stade De France in Paris. During his Stade De France set, he brought out multiple artists including Shallipopi to perform ‘Laho’ remix, Dave for ‘Location’.
The singer and songwriter mesmerized patrons in Manchester with spectacular and breath-taking performances of his career hits including ‘For My Hand’ featuring Ed Sheeran, ‘Tested, Approved and Trusted’ ‘Sungba’, ‘Big 7’, and more. Making the show more memorable, Burna Boy brought out Shallipopi for another thrilling performance of their upcoming ‘Laho’ remix.
The ‘Last Last’ hitmaker ‘s double sold out shows in a row testifies to his superstar status and growing stardom. They also are a testament to Afrobeats global appeal and reach.
In a post-event statement on his X platform, he said he had the best weekend for selling out both venues in Paris and Manchester.
Burna celebrating the success of his shows teased his 10th anniversary slated to happen in 2026. He also revealed that his much anticipated ‘No Sign Of Weakness’ album is done.
”From Stade de France in Paris to The Co-op Arena in Manchester, I’ve had the best weekend. We built this brick by brick, venue by venue, year after year. It’s The Outsider’s and I’s 10 year anniversary next year, album is done and delivered. It’s a good day indeed #NOSIGNOFWEAKNESS,” he wrote on X.
