King Promise Summer Stage Performance Canceled

Organizers of Summer Stage have announced the cancellation of King Promise’s performance over severe weather conditions in New York City.

The announcement was made through the official X platform of the music festival.

The Ghanaian Afropop and Afrobeats superstar had earlier been scheduled to perform at Crotona Park in NYC before the show’s cancellation.

According to the organizers, the cancellation was necessary for the safety of their staff, artists and guests.

“For the safety of our staff, artists, and guests, tonight’s King Promise show in Crotona Park has been cancelled due to severe weather in the area” A statement on the new development reads.

“For the safety of our staff, performers, and guests, tonight’s The Originals show has ended early due to severe weather.”
