Culture Beach Jam 2024, The Perfect Detty December Vibe
Afrofuture proved why it is the best detty December event as it took the celebrations to the beach and brought a whole new vibe and energy to patrons in Ghana and from the diaspora. The Culture Beach Jam, a one-of-a-kind event, presented lovers of Afrobeats, arts, and culture with an intimate and immersive 2-day Beach concert series at the shoreline of the Polo Beach Club.

Artists Line Up & DJ Sets
With the best of Afrobeats artists lined up, like the likes of Shallipopi, Joey B, Pappy Kojo, Odeal, King Promise, Kidi, Arathejay, Omah Lay, amongst others, matched the energy of the crowd who had come to have a good time. Gracing the stage with pure afrobeats vibes was the selling point of the festival, and these artists did justice to that. It was back-to-back music and partying for 2 days at the beach with huge expectations being met by the Afrofuture ravers.

There wouldn’t be any party without the frequent DJ sets that kept the crowd on their feet from start to finish. Playlists were dope, and each DJ who put their hands to their turntables rocked the stage.
Afrofuture Rising Star
Several emerging artists had signed up to become Afrofuture’s rising star, a challenge and talent competition aimed at discovering and elevating emerging artists across Africa. After going through a list of artists, Ghanaian musician, Kiki Celine emerged winner. This was assisted by The Continent Live and Guide Radio.
The BAL Experience
In preparation for Afrofuture’s Culture Beach Jam, a celebrity basketball competition curated by Afrofuture and presented by Hennessy was held at the Bukom Boxing Arena. The competition, which was heavily patronised, left lasting memories for the attendees.
Outreach and Impact
Since the inception of Afrofuture in 2017, the Afrofuture Foundation, set up for a good cause, has provided resources to create a positive change within communities in Ghana. The motive is to build a brighter future across Africa.
