With the release of “The Vices,” the first part of his double album “Solace & The Vices,” Bryson Tiller is back in full force.

The GRAMMY-nominated artist uses producers Charlie Heat, Teddy Walton, Hitmaka, and Gravez to create a project that is full of raw energy and rap-rooted confidence, trading silky R&B for a gritty, high-octane sound.

Tiller refers to the second half, “Solace,” which is scheduled for release later this year, as his “personal therapy session” and promises a more open and reflective tone. The two parts work together to demonstrate the breadth of his artistic abilities.

The announcement coincides with Tiller’s preparations to commemorate the tenth anniversary of his debut single, “T R A P S O U L,” in October. Along with Chris Brown and Summer Walker, he will be performing in key U.S. cities through September as part of the “Breezy Bowl XX Stadium Tour.”
