In response to claims of a photographer being assaulted, Trey Songz is speaking out through his legal team.
The altercation reportedly happened outside The Ivy nightclub, where Armaan Mansoor, a filmmaker, says he was paid to record Songz’s performance.
Mansoor claims that things got out of hand after he was requested to take a last picture of the performer next to the venue’s logo. He claims that Songz destroyed two of his cameras, slammed him against a wall, and punched him in the head.
Although Trey Songz has not publicly addressed the event, Ted Anastasiou, his lawyer, has made statements on his behalf.
He revealed:
“Unfairly, the media is using an incomplete narrative as clickbait to promote a fresh headline.
Trey disagrees with the way things have been described, is completely assisting the authorities, and wants the facts—not conjecture—to speak for themselves.
According to Anastasiou, the argument started because hostile paparazzi had crossed their personal limits.
Trey discloses that he will be working with law enforcement on this urgent matter.
