Fast rising Nigerian star Shallipopi has unveiled official video for his ‘Laho’ remix with Grammy-Winning musician Burna Boy.
The eye-catching and nicely shot-edited video arrived on Tuesday [April 29]- days after the release of the song.
Directed by award-winning director Wowa, the clip captures the Nigerian stars displaying exotic cars, sexy ladies and partying hard like the big boys they are. The new clip testifies to the acts taste for standardized visuals.
Other parts of the clip capture footages of Shallipopi and Burna Boy’s performances of the track at the latter’s sold-out shows at Stade De France in Paris and Manchester’s Co-op Live. The duo teased their collaboration which was then unreleased at both concerts.
‘Laho’, the globe-spanning track is currently one of the biggest summer jams from Africa. Global stars including Cash Cobain have teased their own versions of the song. Ghanaian afro-dancehall pioneer Stonebwoy had earlier freestyled on the beat.
Shallipopi dropped the song, which is his biggest career record shortly after parting ways with his DAPPER record label.
