UK Grime/ drill star Dave is set for the release of a new album this year.
UK Rap Daily, media platform promoting talented UK rappers and British genres hinted at the forthcoming release in a post on X [formerly Twitter.
The rapper has yet to make official announcement and provide further updates on the release.
In 2024, Dave announced he is working on his third album after posting some pretty cryptic posts with fellow musicians Central Cee and Skepta. The yet-to-be-released third studio project serves as a follow-up to his 2019’s ‘Psychodrama’ and 2021’s ‘We’re All Alone In This Together’.
While waiting for his 3rd LP, the South London artist joined forces with his fellow UK rapper Central Cee to release a joint project titled ‘Split Decision’, which consisted of four tracks including the viral tune ‘Sprinter’.
Sprinter has broken many records, including the most number of streams on an opening week for a British rap song.
Teasing the album in an Instagram post with caption: “Back to the motion”, Dave included a handwritten note sharing that he is due to start working on his third solo album.
‘Start Album 3’ was written at the bottom of a to-do list, which is yet to be ticked off.
Celebrating Dave’s 26th birthday in an Instagram post, he teased fans with a top saying “Where’s the album” alongside him seemingly doing some music production.
Central Cee teased Dave by commenting “Haha where’s the album”. Dave has become more active on social media, leading fans to believe he might be gearing up to announce his third album.
