Vogue’s much anticipated May issue is here, and it features the incredible co-chairs of Met Gala 2025. Honoring  their unique contributions to fashion and culture, American rapper A$AP Rocky, fashion designer and singer Pharrel Williams, F1 star Lewis Hamilton and Colman Domingo each grace individual covers. This aligns with the Met Gala’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” which explores the evolution and impact of Black men’s fashion.

Scheduled to take place on the 5th of May, the forthcoming Met Gala will coincide with the opening of the Costume Institute’s exhibition, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” which runs through October 26, 2025. Showcasing garments, paintings, and photographs that trace the history of Black men’s fashion from the 18th century to the present, the upcoming exhibition draws inspiration from Monica L. Miller’s book, “Slaves to Fashion.”

While A$AP Rocky spoke on new music, family ties and celebrating black excellence, Colman Domingo touched on the Joys of Style, Tailoring, and Becoming a Leading Man throughout the Met Gala coverage. Lewis Hamilton spoke on Dressing Up, Showing Up, and Making No Apologies, whilst Pharrell Williams articulately touched on Black Resiliency, Possibility, and Power.
