Brazy, a Nigerian singer, has been chosen by Spotify as its April 2025 EQUAL Africa artist.

The musician was surrounded by music while growing up in Lagos. Her music is a blend of all she has experienced and loved, from singing in church to taking in the spirit of street festivals. Her breakthrough single, “Attends,” which was published in 2022, became a favorite across the continent and launched an explosive career.

Brazy is currently one of the musicians changing the sound of Nigerian music with her honest storytelling and genre-bending approach. She will be featured prominently on Spotify’s flagship EQUAL playlist as part of her EQUAL Africa feature, and she will get support both on and off the platform.
