Kingdom World Tour Changes Venue to First Love Center in Accra
The highly anticipated Kingdom World Tour, featuring Grammy award-winning artist Kirk Franklin and the celebrated group Maverick City, has faced an unexpected challenge just a day before its Accra leg.
Originally set to take place at ICGC Christ Temple East, the event has now been relocated to the First Love Center in Accra.
The last-minute venue change stems from an 80% price hike imposed by the management of ICGC Christ Temple East, just 24 hours before the show. This sudden surge in cost left organizers with no choice but to seek an alternative location to avoid further complications.
In a press statement, Culture Management Group (CMG) Gospel, in partnership with Faith Collective, expressed their disappointment and frustration over the abrupt change, citing it as an unnecessary disruption that has impacted both the organizers and fans.
“We are shocked and deeply disappointed by this change in plans by the management of ICGC Christ Temple East. This sudden increase in cost has caused unnecessary complications for all involved,” a representative from CMG Gospel stated.
Despite the unforeseen circumstances, the organizers have swiftly secured the First Love Center as the new venue for the event. The Kingdom World Tour in Accra will proceed as scheduled on Sunday, August 18th, at 5 p.m.
CMG has apologized for any inconvenience caused by this venue change and has assured fans that the show will go on as planned. They also expressed gratitude for the understanding and continued support of all attendees.
The Kingdom World Tour has been a significant draw for gospel music fans, and the Accra event promises to be a memorable evening, despite the last-minute venue adjustment.
