Fast rising Ghanaian highlife singer and songwriter Kofi Stainlex has successfully wrapped up his ‘Kwaadonto’ western regional media tour in a grand style.
Stainlex hit the western region for the tour after wrapping up in the Greater Accra region.
Kicked off on Wednesday, 10th December 2025, the singer began at Empire FM with Joe Kumi and Clara and made stops at Radio Maxx, New Day Television, Sharp FM, Beach FM, Connect FM, Melody FM, Skyy Power FM, Spice FM, before wrapping up at Oil City radio.
The highlife genius reflected on his career, how he began music and also the inspiration behind his new single ‘Kwaadonto.’ Discussing his career, he revealed that he has been involved in music for the past 18 years. According to him, he has always loved music and the only thing that will stop him from pursuing his career is death.
During the tour, he also teased an upcoming single titled ‘Abankaba’- translated to English as handcuffs. The singer disclosed that the ordeal of a friend who was wrongly accused and jailed for 45 years for a robbery he knows nothing about inspired the song.
Kofi believes there are many prisoners who know nothing about the crimes they were accused of yet are rotting behind bars.
In an interview with Yoofi Eyeson of Spice FM, the singer showed appreciation and thanked the founder and CEO of Boadi Management Services Limited [BMSL], Mr Larry for believing in him and investing hugely in his craft.
The highlight of the entire tour was when Stainlex took the stage to perform at the Takoradi Most Strongest competition, held at the Takoradi Mall. He thrilled patrons with a spectacular performance of ‘Kwaadonto’ and ‘Abankaba’.
