King Promise has pledged to sponsor his PRO Tilly Akua Nipaa’s master’s degree in public relations.
The singer made the life changing promise to his PRO in an interview on Accra FM after the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards [TGMA]. He is sponsoring his PRO’s master’s degree programme as a token of appreciation for her efforts in promoting his work during the TGMA.
“I like Tilly. I believe that she did a good job. I was talking to my managers a while ago, I think she’s gonna go do her master’s and I want to pay for it because she’s done a great job. She’s contributed very well to what we did,” he said.
Ahead of the TGMA, where King Promise was crowned ‘Artist Of The Year,’ as his PRO, Tilly campaigned for him, promoting his works to the board, academy and public. The hardworking PRO listed why he deserved the Artist Of The Year prize, which he truly won.
Tilly implemented various campaign strategies to boost King Promise’s chances. Her efforts paid off, as King Promise outshone competitors like Stonebwoy, Joe Mettle, Black Sheriff, King Paluta, Team Eternity, and Kweku Smoke to claim the coveted Artiste of the Year award last Saturday.
