A Kentucky charity organization has apologized following a statement misleading fans into believing will return to touring in 2026.
Unbridled Eve charity organisation made headlines when it listed a Taylor Swift package for auction at its upcoming May 2 event, the Derby Gala last week. A guitar signed by Taylor, and two tickets to a future Swift concert itmes included in the package. The organisation wrote on the listing according to Rolling Stone: “Two concert tickets during her upcoming 2026 tour.”
While the pop musician has yet to announce any plans of returning to the live stage since the conclusion of her extensive Eras tour late last year, the organization’s post sent fans into a frenzy.
After the misleading statement, Unbridled Eve issued a public statement, noting that they misspoke in the listing and have since updated the auction piece to reflect “two tickets for a concert during her next tour”. Unbridled Eve also apologised for the mix-up.
They wrote: “In the most recent Unbridled Eve press release, we inadvertently listed one of our auctions items as a ‘Signed guitar by Taylor Swift and two concert tickets during her upcoming 2026 tour.’ Our deepest apologies for getting the Swifties excited, but it should have said ‘Guitar signed by Taylor Swift and two tickets for a concert during her next tour.’ We have no knowledge whatsoever of when that tour will occur.”
