Ye’s representatives are retaliating against claims of trafficking and violence made by Lauren Pisciotta, a former aide.
A representative for Yeezy replied to the updated complaint against the artist who was previously known as Kanye West in a statement.
“Lauren Pisciotta’s amended complaint is the fourth version she has advanced. Each new revision contradicts the others; each is more absurd and outlandish than all previous claims combined,” read the statement. “Does Ms. Pisciotta actually believe her confabulations? We cannot know. But this breathless new installment of fantasy fiction discredits all past, present and future testimony.”
The spokesperson added, “The Courts are no place to indulge delusions and mental disturbances. We stand ready to annihilate Ms. Pisciotta’s tall tales before a jury—an exoneration so inevitable that even she, lost in her fog of fantasy, must surely see it coming.”
Speaking on behalf of Ye’s family and as a Yeezy spokesman, Milo Yiannopoulos added that Pisciotta’s altered allegations displayed “absurdity” that was “self-evident.”
Yiannopoulos went on to say, “[S]he chose the one rapper who despises violence, has never been arrested, and doesn’t even own a gun.” “An extortionist with Ms. Pisciotta’s level of ambition should be more selective about who she targets.”
He called Pisciotta a “fantasist,” claiming that she once “demanded” a Hermès Birkin bag adorned with diamonds on a crocodile “in exchange for a single act of fellatio”.
The reply comes after Pisciotta’s amended complaint, which was submitted on July 8. In that complaint, the 36-year-old accused Ye, 48, of a variety of offences while she was his assistant and then chief of staff, including emotional abuse, false imprisonment, sexual harassment, assault, and battery.
According to Pisciotta’s allegation, Ye tried to vaginally penetrate her with his fingers and verbally raped her without getting her consent. She claims that both of these attacks occurred while she was working, which allegedly occurred from July 2021 to October 2022.
She says she moved to Florida in order to “escape” his behaviour, but he still harassed her by swatting her.
Arick Fudali of the Bloom Firm, Pisciotta’s lawyer, discussed Ye’s social media posts, including one in which he said he had “hit women before,” with Complex’s Shawn Setaro last month.
At the time, Fudali claimed to have defended alleged victims against numerous well-known individuals who have a platform and may freely discuss anything they want. “Throughout my entire career of defending alleged victims, I have never witnessed a defendant make admissions to the case via Twitter throughout the course of discovery and litigation. This one is definitely new.
