Due to tremendous demand, Ed Sheeran has added more gigs in Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Auckland to his Loop Tour, which will travel to Australia and New Zealand in early 2026.

Beginning on January 16 in Auckland’s Go Media Stadium, the stadium tour will play in all of Australia’s major cities before continuing across New Zealand. With the addition of a second show at Perth’s Optus Stadium and third shows in Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne, the newly announced concerts now total 15 dates in both countries.

On Tuesday, July 29, tickets for every date will go on sale at different times. Beginning on Monday, July 28, Frontier Touring members will have access to a 24-hour pre-sale.

Sheeran’s upcoming studio album, Play, which Warner Music will release on September 12th, will be supported by the Loop Tour. The project, which features the singles “Azizam,” “Sapphire,” and “Old Phone,” is described as “an exploratory, technicolour pop album that captures the fun, chaos, and heart of an artist reinvigorated by life and travel.” Sheeran’s first significant album since Autumn Variations in 2023 is this one.

Already one of the most successful touring acts in Australian history, Sheeran has sold more than 2.5 million tickets across Australia and New Zealand to date. His 2023 +–=÷× (Mathematics) Tour broke records across multiple cities, including the highest single-day ticket sales in Sydney history.

With the revised dates, Sheeran will once more play in large stadiums, such as Adelaide Oval, Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium, Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium, and Sydney’s Accor Stadium. Although minors under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, all shows are licensed for all ages.
