“What Did I Miss,” Drake’s most recent single, is anything but a commercial failure.
According to reports, the London Cyr-produced single, the lead single from his ninth studio album “Iceman,” was unexpectedly released on July 5. Despite this, it became the week’s top-selling and most-streamed song and made it into the updated Hot 100.
And even though Alex Warren’s hugely successful song “Ordinary” prevented him from making a historic #1 debut, Drizzy (real name Aubrey Graham) was nevertheless noted in Billboard’s record books for the release of “Miss.”
“What Did I Miss” achieved the highest sales and streaming figures of the week, landing it at number two on the revised Hot 100.
In addition to being Drizzy’s historic 65th top 10 debut, the appearance represents his 81st top 10 single, which is the most of any artist since the Hot 100’s inception in 1958.
