There have been several shocks on the third night of Drake’s headline performance at Wireless Fest.
The Toronto artist shared the stage with Rema on Sunday night (July 13), bringing out a number of surprise artists. The Nigerian musician’s performance stunned the audience.
The renowned Vybz Kartel took the stage right after Rema to a boisterous ovation from the crowd.
Drizzy also played a sample of his future collaboration with Central Cee for the audience, hinting at it.
Drake’s last night at Wireless Fest concludes a weekend filled with incredible musical memories, including performing live with American and UK rap icons and drinking to the crowd’s scream of “Fuck Kendrick.”
He invited Dave, Skepta, Fakemink, and Central Cee to play on the second night of the show. Because of his guest performers, Drake renamed his act Drake & Mandem. Drake informed the audience, “No disrespect to America, but nobody in the world can out-rap London rappers.”
Despite that remark, he introduced American musicians such as 21 Savage, Sexxy Red, and, most famously, Vanessa Carlton, who sang her frequently sampled and remixed song “A Thousand Miles.”
Drake brought out Mario, Lauryn Hill, Bryson Tiller, and Giveon on the opening night of Wireless Fest.
Drake gave Adin Ross and BenDaDonnn permission to broadcast from his show this year, allowing them to produce a number of now-viral videos documenting the entire event. His new track, “What Did I Miss?” was just released.
