Diddy Plans Madison Square Garden Comeback Performance After Jail Release, Lawyer Says

After being freed from prison, Sean “Diddy” Combs plans to make a comeback appearance at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, revealed in a brief excerpt of a recent interview with Jericka Duncan on CBS Mornings—his first since the widely reported trial—that his client is eager to visit his family after spending over a year behind bars. Agnifilo also disclosed that Diddy intends to take the stage again after he is released.

“He’s going to be back at Madison Square Garden,” Agnifilo said in the clip when asked if Diddy wants to get back into music. “And I said I’ll be there.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Agnifilo was asked what Diddy wants people to know. “He wants people to know that he has reflected on the blessings that he’s been given,” he said. “On the imperfections that I think he sees in himself. I think he wants to get out of jail, reestablish a loving, present relationship with all of his seven children. He wants to take care of his mother.”

Earlier this week, Diddy was denied bail for a second time as he awaits sentencing on Oct. 3 for two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution. He had proposed a $50 million bond, which was rejected by Judge Arun Subramanian, who sided with prosecutors.

“As for risk of flight or danger, Combs fails to meet his burden by clear and convincing evidence for the reasons set forth on the record at the July 2, 2025, hearing,” reads the court docs. “Increasing the amount of the bond or devising additional conditions doesn’t change the calculus given the circumstances and heavy burden of proof that Combs bears.”

Diddy’s defence team claimed in a July 29 motion that the disgraced entrepreneur is the only individual in the nation to have been imprisoned under the Mann Act for actions pertaining to consensual sex.

Diddy’s team proposed a bail plan that included the $50 million bond that his Florida estate had secured, stringent supervision, travel restrictions, and electronic monitoring.

On September 16, 2024, federal authorities apprehended Diddy in New York City.
