Davido will join other global artists at Coachella 2026 in Indio, California, solidifying Afrobeats’ position on the international scene.
The 2026 Coachella roster has been revealed, and the California festival is expected to be one of the year’s largest musical events. The Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, will have two weekends of concerts from April 10–12 and April 17–19, featuring headliners Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter, Karol G, and Anyma.

Davido, a Nigerian superstar, is the sole Nigerian performer on the bill, joining an international mix of musicians. His first Coachella appearance will take place on Saturdays, April 11 and 18.

The 2026 lineup also features artists like The Strokes, Iggy Pop, Nine Inch Nails (featuring Boys Noize), and FKA Twigs. They will play on Sundays, April 12 and 19.

In recent years, artists from the African diaspora have gradually established themselves at the Coachella festival. Tyla, Amaarae, and Seun Kuti contributed their sounds to the festival this year, and the lineup for next year builds on that success.
