East African fans are excited to see one of Africa’s top artists live on stage as Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Davido brings his global 5ive Tour to Kigali, Rwanda.
The legendary BK stadium, which has 10,000 seats and is regarded as the biggest indoor stadium in East Africa, will host the performance on Thursday, December 5, 2025. Rwandan social media is already abuzz with excitement following the news, which was made on Monday, November 3.
Davido’s global celebration of his fifth studio album, 5IVE, which was released in April 2025, includes a stop in Kigali. The project, which showcases Davido’s versatility and worldwide appeal, has garnered international praise for blending Afrobeats with elements of R&B, Reggaeton, and Dancehall.
Davido is returning to Kigali for the much-anticipated event. Through exceptional performances over the years, such as his participation at the Giants of Africa event and the Trace Awards and Festival in 2023, he has developed a close bond with the city.
Securing a 5ive Tour stop is a significant milestone for Rwanda’s entertainment industry, according to organisers led by Intore Entertainment and sponsored by SKOL Malt. The Kigali concert is anticipated to be one of the biggest musical events of the year in East Africa, despite the tour being restricted to a few African locations.
Fans can anticipate an exciting performance that includes Davido’s classic classics like Fall, Unavailable, and Feel in addition to favourites from 5IVE. Excitement is already growing for what looks to be a memorable evening with the “OBO” himself as the countdown gets underway.
