Nigerian Afrobeats icon Davido is geared up for the African leg of his globe-spanning ‘5IVE’ Alive tour.
The 30 GB boss announced the forthcoming tour in an exclusive interview with BBC, exciting his fans across the continent.
Hinting at the trek, Davido disclosed that he will be performing at 10 stadiums in different countries.
He expressed how excited he is about the tour as he has missed his fans and can’t wait to thrill them with spectacular and electrifying performances.
The Grammy-Nominated musician had earlier announced the North American leg of the tour scheduled to begin in Los Angeles on the 11th of July.
”What I’m most excited about is my African tour. We are doing an African tour as well. We are touching base. I think about 10 countries, all stadiums. I miss my fans in Africa so I wanna come back and tap in,” he said as he hinted about the African trek.
The upcoming tour is in honor of Davido’s fifth album ‘5IVE’, a follow-up to his ‘Timeless’ LP. Released in April 2025, guest features include Omah Lay, Victoria Monet, Odumodou Blvk, Musa Keys, Becky G, Shenseaa, etc.
Meanwhile, new dates have been added to the North American leg of the much anticipated tour.
