As Busta Rhymes was formally recognised with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, hip-hop royalty took centre stage.

Busta, a well-known rapper with a reputation for flowing quickly, was awarded a star in the Recording category for his contributions to the music business.

The MC has sold over 20 million records worldwide over the course of his decades-long career, solidifying his place as one of hip-hop’s most enduring and inventive performers.

There was a lot of appreciation throughout the presenting ceremony. Heavyweights in hip-hop joined the stage to celebrate Busta’s career and impact. Chuck D of Public Enemy and Big Daddy Kane, both trailblazers in their own right, shared poignant words with LL Cool J, whose cadence Busta sometimes imitated when writing his early rhymes.

There’s no sign of Busta stopping anytime soon. In addition to commemorating this professional achievement, he hinted at the release of his next project, “Vengeance,” which is scheduled for September.
