As Beyonce’s massive “Cowboy Carter Tour” came to an end in Las Vegas, the megastar lit up the history books with a number of new records.
The massive tour, which was organised to promote the Grammy-winning “Cowboy Carter” record, sold 1.6 million tickets and brought in an incredible $407.6 million.
As a result, according to Billboard’s boxscore, the 32-date, nine-city journey has become the highest-grossing country tour ever.
The trailblazer continues to hold two records: the highest-grossing R&B artist and the highest-grossing Black artist in history.
The “Renaissance World Tour” was Beyonce’s first tour to earn over $400 million, making her the first American and female performer to do so.
The diva also holds 30 venue records in North America, the UK, and Europe, including at renowned stadiums like the Stade de France in Paris, the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
Destiny’s Child, Jay-Z, and Shaboozey joined the stage together for a spectacular performance at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, which marked the end of the “Cowboy Carter Tour.”
