On the 50th season finale of Saturday Night Live last night, Bad Bunny was the star music guest on the show.
Bunny thrilled audience with a spectacular performance of two songs “Nuevayol” and “Perfumito Nuevo,” both from his latest album Debí Tirar Más Fotos. He was joined by RaiNao for the performance of ‘Perfumito Nuevo.’ Making the show-stopping display more fun, he appeared in sketches as an air traffic controller and host Scarlett Johansson’s Spanish-speaking boyfriend. Michael Myers also made a cameo appearance—as himself—opposite cast member Keenan Thompson as Kanye West.
In 2023, Bad Bunny appeared as both a host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live. He had earlier this month announced a world tour in honor of his new album Debí Tirar Más Fotos. The globe-spanning trek is slated to kickstart at San Juan, Puerto Rico’s Coliseo de Puerto Rico.
In the beginning of the year, SNL celebrated its 50th anniversary with two live broadcast specials: : SNL50: The Homecoming Concert and SNL50: The Anniversary Special. Other recent musical guests have included Lizzo, Elton John and Brandi Carlile, and Tate McRae. Lady Gaga, Timothée Chalamet, and Charli XCX all pulled double duty this season, and Stevie Nicks performed on an episode hosted by Ariana Grande. It was recently confirmed that Saturday Night Live will be launching a British spinoff in 2026.
