In a world where African innovation is rising to global attention, AfroTalks 2025 is taking a bold step toward nurturing local enterprise. This year’s edition of the annual ideas and impact forum introduces a new feature — the Made in Africa Expo — dedicated to showcasing and empowering 15 emerging African startups.

Under the theme “HOW”, AfroTalks 2025 seeks not just to ask difficult questions, but to celebrate the practical work of those actively answering them through creativity, entrepreneurship, and community-driven business models.

At the heart of that work are the startups — daring, resilient, and homegrown.

By offering complimentary vendor access, the Made in Africa Expo provides these businesses with more than visibility — it gives them validation, a supportive community, and a chance to connect with investors, partners, and fellow visionaries.
This initiative reflects the spirit of AfroTalks: that we rise by building together. Empowering African startups isn’t charity — it’s strategy. It’s how we grow the continent from within. The 15 selected vendors span sectors such as wellness, technology, beauty, food, events, fashion, art, and agribusiness.
They include: Ronexe Beauty Hub, IOT Network Hub, Koffy Dodzi, Trap Naturals, The Moses Arthur, The Jollof, and Dessert Bar, Showtime Events and Decor, Regal Closet, Brielle Cosmetics, Orave Juices, The Boostmate, Faneyez Arts, Jeffreyness, Salmun Ventures, lBhfarm.

Each of these ventures represents a piece of the larger puzzle: an Africa where innovation is not imported but grown from the ground up. AfroTalks invites attendees, partners, and the global community to meet, connect with, and invest in these incredible founders during the Expo.
AfroTalks 2025 will take place on 24 May at 10AM at the University of Ghana School of Law. Join the movement and be part of the conversation.
