Nigerian music icon Davido will play at the official opening event of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

One of the main acts at the eagerly awaited event will be Davido.
French Montana, Douaa Lahyaoui, Says’z, and Lartiste will accompany the afrobeats artist.

The Olm Souissi Fan Zone in Rabat will host the performance on Saturday.

The event is open to those who have both match tickets and Fan IDs.

Davido has recently given performances at athletic events.

The 33-year-old gave performances at the 2023 Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) awards, the 2022 FIFA World Cup draw in Doha, and the AFCON 2017 opening ceremony.

Additionally, he gave a performance at the opening ceremony of Ogun State’s 2024 National Sports Festival.

The first match of the AFCON 2025 finals will take place on Sunday at the Stade Prince Moulay Abdallah in Rabat between hosts Morocco and Comoros.
