The 2025 edition of the Music In Africa Conference for Collaborations, Exchanges, and Showcases (ACCES) will be held in November 2025 in the City of Tshwane, the executive capital of South Africa. The dates for ACCES 2025 are the 13th, 14th, and 15th of November 2025.

The announcement comes after African cities were asked to submit bids for the chance to host the esteemed yearly event through a competitive bidding process. Tshwane competed with Kigali, Kampala, and Tunis as one of four cities that filed bids for 2025. The bidding procedure is a component of a larger plan to broaden the event’s appeal and enable any interested nation to work with the Music In Africa Foundation (MIAF) to host ACCES for a maximum of two years.
“We are thrilled to announce that the city of Tshwane will host ACCES 2025,” MIAF Executive Director Eddie Hatitye said. “As a vibrant cultural hub with a rich musical heritage, Tshwane is the perfect setting for this premier music industry event. We look forward to bringing together artists, professionals, and stakeholders from across Africa and beyond to connect, collaborate, and celebrate the power of African music.”
The music trade event attracts various industry players, including distributors, publishers, promoters, bookers, record labels, musicians, collective management organizations (CMOs), funders, policymakers, and NGOs.
