Drake Postpones Manchester Show Due to ‘Travel Logistics’

By

Drake’s performance in Manchester, England, on Monday night has been hampered by a “unseen ferry schedule.” In a message on the venue’s website, the rapper announced the cancellation of the July 28 performance at Co-op Live, which was supposed to be the third of three shows he had planned for the arena.

“Due to unforeseen ferry schedule and travel logistics, tomorrow’s performance in Manchester on July 28th has been rescheduled,” said the statement. “The good news is that Drake will now perform in Manchester on Tuesday, August 5th, and it’s set to be an unforgettable night. All tickets remain valid for the new date—we can’t wait to see you there!”

Drake’s return to Manchester will now take place over two nights, as he was originally scheduled to perform again at Co-op Live on August 4. He is scheduled to perform in Amsterdam between July and August in Manchester.

The shows are a part of his summer tour with PARTYNEXTDOOR., dubbed $ome $pecial $hows 4 UK.

Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s joint album, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, was released earlier this year and peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and No. 3 on the U.K. Official Albums Chart. It was PARTYNEXTDOOR’s first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and Drake’s fourteenth.

Following Drake’s recent three-night headlining performance at Wireless Festival, where Central Cee made a special appearance, the new song “Which One” featuring Central Cee had its official debut during the second episode of Drake’s Iceman broadcast.
