Ghanaian songstress and songwriter Wendy Shay is expanding her artistic territory into the Caribbeans.

Wendy Shay has recently teamed up with Jamaican dancehall superstar Mavado for an upcoming song.

The duo had earlier been spotted on set shooting what seems to be the visuals for the yet to be released project.

Revolve Plus broke the news of the heavyweight collaboration by sharing a snippet of the duo on set for the video shoot on Wednesday [April 30].

Since the news went viral on social media, fans and music lovers have shared their reactions, highly anticipating the forthcoming release. Some Ghanaian X users have praised Wendy for being one of the most hardworking female artists in the industry.

The ‘Too Late’ hitmaker is the latest Ghanaian female to collaborate with a Jamaican act after Moliy joined hands with Shenseaa, Skillibeng and Silent Addy for her ‘Shake It To The Max’ remix.

Wendy Shay has yet to make an official announcement on the upcoming record.
