Rising Afrobeats and Highlife artist Wattle has released his debut Extended Play titled “EROS” on Friday 22nd November,2024.
The young singer shared this heartfelt project filled with his innermost thoughts stemming from his experiences with love so far in his life.
The Highlife and Afrobeats project encompasses how Wattle has been unlucky with love. With so much of it to give, he seems to never get it reciprocated.
These moments leave him thinking and comparing himself with the Greek god of love Eros (Cupid), always giving out love but never getting it back. Regardless of how one-sided it seems, how badly he is treated, he keeps professing his love over smooth productions to his lover.
Wattle is definitely a talent to look out for with how his sound takes inspiration from an older generation and mixes his much recent outlook with it. Highlife and Afrobeats, his music is one that births something for the future.
