Revisiting the archives, American rapper Tyler, The Creator has collaborated once again with Converse for a new footwear capsule titled “1908”.
Slated for release on June 20, the latest capsule was inspired by Converse’s heritage, (the brand was founded in 1908). The collection reworks two archival silhouettes with a modern, playful twist.
First up is the Naut-1, a 1971 lifestyle classic reimagined with boat shoe influences and a preppy edge. Then comes the Coach Jogger, a sleek track shoe originally designed for the 1976 Olympics, now updated with nods to retro runners from the ’70s and ’80s.
