Vans is reinventing a classic for the upcoming generation of creatives that follow their rhythm, and in doing so have collaborated with Little Simz to present the next chapter of the Premium Old Skool Music Collection. Since joining the Vans family in 2023, Little Simz has made a lasting impression on the company with a unique Slip-On collection, several campaign elements, and a memorable House of Vans performance in Johannesburg.

The Old Skool was designed with skaters in mind when it was first released in 1977 as the Style 36, but its impact extended beyond that. It became a symbol of inventiveness and rebellion since it was the first Vans sneaker to have the now-iconic Sidestripe. Skaters forging their route, hip-hop stages, and sweaty punk clubs have all worn it for decades. Drawing  inspiration from the three important musical eras that established the Old Skool as a cultural mainstay, the Premium Old Skool Music Collection harnesses that vitality.
