Taking a tongue-in-cheek approach to their iconic “Shopping Bag”, Pharrell-lead Louis Vuitton look set to unveil an all-leather iteration of their signature everyday shopping bag, being unofficially debuted by their Men’s Creative Director.
Stepping into the Paris flagship store for a surprise visit, Pharrell is primed to offer up his latest collection with Louis Vuitton on the opening night of next week’s Paris Fashion Week, with the all-round creative knowing exactly what to do to get a buzz going. Stepping out in a typically on-point ensemble, the 50-year-old designer and musician was snapped holding a yellow Louis Vuitton shopping bag, a customary holdall given to customers as they exit any LV store, but with a twist. This particular iteration was composed out of a yellow crocodile leather and utilised a more meticulously shaped silhouette, keeping the signature “Louis Vuitton” lettering printed on the side. With little being known about Pharrell”s upcoming FW24′ effort with the French fashion house, could this be an indicator at what’s to come?
