Drawing inspiration from tailored style codes and unique interests, Aime Leon Dore has time-travelled back to 1990s New York for their fourth drop of Spring/Summer apparel.
The latest collection modelled by rising 14-year-old content creator George Davies, showcases consumers’ growth through the fashion cycle, from private school uniforms to yacht club attire. The collection truly shows Aime Leon Dore’s range, developing beyond a street-influenced brand. Canary yellow suiting is styled in a white hoodie, popped polo collars are exposed over technical tracksuits and there’s an inherent call back to retro sports memorabilia.
The collection in its entirety is quite cohesive, making it hard to nail down a headlining piece. The piece however is worth mentioning the most is the duel-wielded, jazz club-influenced bowling shirt with outlined women’s faces as graphics. It wouldn’t be an Aime Leon Dore lookbook without a sneaker collaboration, and they’ve tapped New Balance for a 990v6 Made in USA in a white with sea salt colourway.
Aime Leon Dore’s Drop 4 for Spring/Summer was released today. Check out the lookbook imagery below.
