Drawing upon the Swiss landscape for a bold, new design, Adidas has unveiled the Official Match Ball for the upcoming 2025 UEFA Women’s Euros.
Highlighting all eight venues of next summer’s tournament with subtle detail, the ‘KONEKTIS’ match ball – meaning ‘connected’ in the universal second language Esperanto – arrives in a pearlescent white base.
To reflect the famous peaks of the Swiss Alps, Bright arcs of colour end in jagged points. The name of each host city is written beneath the corresponding graphic with illustrations of popular attractions that fans will be able to see on their way to matches are surrounded by the technicolour accents.
Basel City Hall, the Bern Clock Tower, the Geneva Water Jet, Lucerne Chapel Bridge, St. Gallen Cathedral, Tourbillon Castle in Sion, Thun Castle and Opernhaus Zürich are the popular eight marks featured on the match ball.
The KONEKTIS ball utilises PRECISIONSHELL and CTR-CORE technology designed with accuracy in mind. Whilst the CTR-CORE supports faster, precise and consistent gameplay, debossed grooves on the ball’s outer shell allow for maximum precision in the air.
