Acne studios have expanded their collaboration with Jonathan Lyndon- the Philadephia artist they started with his set design for their SS25 womenswear show last September. is dynamic work – soft sculptures, furniture, and paintings reimagining domestic objects like lamps and radios – explored Black subjectivity, queerness, and domestic tenderness.
Acne Studios, Greene Street, New York will host a temporary exhibition of Lyndon Chase’s work, including pieces from the show and new creations for the event, marking the debut of the ‘Acne Studios Loves Jonathan Lyndon Chase’ capsule collection from May 7th to 11th, Acne Studios, Greene Street. This collection features his expressive illustrations, including takes on the Acne Studios bow, across clothing and homeware.
Adorned with Lyndon Chase’s characteristic figures, often inspired by loved ones, the collection includes a version of Acne Studios’ ‘1981’ jeans, long- and short-sleeved T-shirts, cushions, and a blanket. The fabrics cleverly mimic denim, referencing Acne Studios’ origins.
The ‘Acne Studios Love Jonathan Lyndon Chase’ collection will be available exclusively at Acne Studios Greene Street, New York from May 7th and selected stores worldwide and online at acnestudios.com from late June 2025.
