A$AP Rocky, w ith the release of further advertising images for his “Blacked Out” collection, has solidified the connection between himself and Ray-Ban. The capsule comes after A$AP Rocky was appointed Creative Director in the middle of February.


The collection, which spans three enormous silhouettes, is a chronological tour through Ray-Ban’s repertoire. Beginning with the Mega Clubmaster, the frame has a vintage appearance with gold accents on the bottom half and bridge. The Mega Wayfarer and Mega Balorama, which pay homage to Y2K trends and reflect on one of the brand’s most well-liked frames, follow suit. Both have the same gold accents, however the Balorama is a wrap-around frame while the Wayfarer has a blocky look.
